About Liz Waddleton
Liz Waddleton, a filmmaker from Murrieta, California, has demonstrated a strong commitment to addressing mental health issues through her work. As a student at Murrieta Mesa High School, she collaborated with fellow student Leyna Vo to create the short film "Another Light." This poignant piece earned them first place in the Mental Health category at the regional level of the Directing Change Program & Film Contest/ The film advanced to statewide judging, where the pair was also awaded first place.
Continuing her passion for storytelling, Liz attends the University of California at Rivers, where among other works, she produced "Modern Romance," a film that humorously explores the challenges of contemporary dating. This project showcased her ability to blend comedy with insightful social commentary. The film's engaging narrative and polished cinematography captivated audiences, earning it first place at the University of California, Riverside's Film Fest. Waddleton's dedication to creating impactful and relatable content highlights her promising future in the film industry.
